It was great to talk to Saima Akhtar of the Manchester Evening News about my research and graphic novel in progress earlier this week.
The lovely thing about getting the news of my research out is that new people make contact with me and old friends are prompted to catch up too. There are so many kind and generous folks out there willing and even keen to help to add their special Duncan Edwards' memories to the project. Remembering keeps our lost loved ones alive in a special and important way.
I'm grateful to everyone who trusts me with their thoughts and memories. It's a commemoration through words - just as important as visiting graves and laying flowers at memorials.
